We do NOT waste food in this house so when we had a little ribeye, horseradish cream, and Cowgirl butter left over from our Labor Day meal we thought, "Pizza?" and the answer was, "YES."
Recipe Video Here!
Cowgirl butter combined with sour cream and a little steak sauce made a DELICIOUS base. Whole milk mozzarella, red onions, and chopped, smoked ribeye topped with parsley, cilantro, green onions, and the rest of our horseradish cream made a seriously craveable pizza. We might have made it twice... ok, we made it twice. We really like pizza and we REALLY liked this spin on a BBQ pizza!
Cowgirl Ribeye Pizza
Ingredients:
Recipe we use for pizza dough
1/2 cup leftover steak chunks, we had ribeye on hand
2 Tablespoons Cowgirl Butter
2 Tablespoons sour cream
1/2 Tablespoon steak sauce (we use Primal Kitchen Organic Sugar Free)
1 cup whole milk mozzarella, shredded
2 Tablespoons red onions, sliced into half moons
Pinch of chopped parsley, cilantro, and green onion
1/4 cup sour cream
1 Tablespoon mayo
1-2 Tablespoons spicy horseradish (I use more like 2, depends on how spicy you like it!)
1 teaspoon heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic & onion powder
Pinch of salt and pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 550F with a pizza steel inside for an hour, this is super important to get your pizza crust puffy and crunchy on the bottom
Prepare your horseradish sauce by mixing mayo, horseradish, heavy cream, garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper
You have to use a condiment squeeze bottle to get that perfect spiral; combine sauce ingredients in the bottle and save in the fridge- here's one I use: squeezy bottle
Make your Cowgirl Butter and set aside; recipe here!
Toss and stretch your pizza dough and spread your Cowgirl Butter all around
Add the mozzarella cheese, steak pieces, and sliced red onion
Bake for about 8 minutes at 550F, turning halfway; once it's looking golden brown around the crust it's done!
Drizzle horseradish cream around the top and sprinkle on your chopped cilantro, parsley, and green onion
I told my husband this might be the best pizza we've ever made. It was that good. I never thought my Cowgirl Butter would go on a pizza but here we are and we'll do it again!
